Description

I would like to describe our school teacher  Natalia Nicolaevna. She is our homeroom teacher and the first thing you notice, for example, if you are new pupil, about her that she is strict and particular. She wants to prepare us for last school exams, so if you want a good mark, you have to work. The next thing that strikes you about her is aspiration. She gives us a material using the easiest way and it is really helpful, because sometimes when you a reading a textbook you cannot understand some things, but our teacher of algebra describes and explains that moments clearly.

She is a person who makes a really big contribution to events of our class. She is really good organizer of performances. This is really good luck of having such a great teacher. 

Success

1)What is your biggest success in life?

I do not quite sure, may by there was something more important than that day, but first what came to my mind was winning the art competition when I was 11. I drew a mermaid and got first place. But there was a mistake, because of my name, and someone wrote my surname as if I am a boy. Everyone liked my picture, but practically everybody was asking my dad «You have a son, why does he draw a mermaid like as if he is a girl? »

2) What small successes do you have every day?

In my opinion it is when I get a good mark during the lesson. It makes me feel better. I like to be sure what things I can do and if I could not, I try to correct my mistakes and later do it better.

3)How would you define success?

Success means  consensual respect, this is the most important thing in describing what does success means. Because if you have a respect of people around you, you have a power.  The next important thing is a talent, some lucky and skill of being in right place in right time.

4)Is success a journey or a destination?

Answering to that question I would like to present you  quotation from the brilliant book which was written by Brendon Sanderson  “The Way of Kings”

It is a bearing of heroes of the past. Was the success? Yes. But not a conferee made them be so. They became a heroes after showing that they could help the world, that would save it. So yes, I think success is always a journey to something new and unexpected.

5)What is your formula or recipe for success?

The best way to succeed something is to not to be lazy, which is really hard, hard-working and always put  a new aims, do not stop.

6)Does success keep you happy?

In some ways. Sometimes it can be that this person is really reach and respected by everyone, he can be alone in the same time. But it is not a problem. I think being reach and successful person is much better than being poor and unknown.  

7)Do you think success breeds success?

Could be. But for example, if person was a famous scientist, people will know his son. But he will be like a shadow of the past until he creates something new.

8)Do you think you can teach someone to be successful?

I am not sure. I think I am too young for it. And…by the way, I am not that type of person who does everything  to achieve an aim, even if it is bad for another people.

9)Someone once said: "Success is getting what you want; happiness is wanting what you get." Do you agree with this quote? 

Yes. I agree with that quote. If you get what you want you feel happiness, yes, but it leaves you after some time.

10)Someone once said: "The two hardest things to handle in life are failure and success." What do you think of this? 

That’s true. People’s opinions of you can change really fast. And successful people should be really attentive for it. 

Opinion essay

Topic: Cigarettes should be made illegal

Smoking is one of the most important problems in our century; it is a reason of a variety of diseases and premature death in the modern world. Annually in the world smoking causes direct or indirect deaths of 3 million people. Smoking is responsible for about one in six deaths. Every year, smoking kills about 100 000 lives in Russia as a result of (heart disease), and approximately 30,000 as a result of cerebrovascular disease.

Personally I think that smoking should be made illegal. The desire to quit smoking sooner or later occurs in the majority of smokers. Despite this popularity of smoking, it turns out that it's not so pleasant experience, and many people, sooner or later, will have a desire to leave it. In this case, the most critical is the desire to improve their health. And so the government should help this people. It is much harder to give up smoking if you can simply buy cigarettes practically everywhere.  

On the other hand some people still think that smoking is a good way to relax, forget their problems and be fashionable. They just can’t understand that it will cause big problems for them. And these people disagree with that idea of making smoking illegal. And some of them make big money selling it.

I totally disagree with that opinion. Smoking- is not a problem for a just a single person, it is a problem for our nation. If they want a good country they have to help it be so.

To sum up, Smoking is a social problem in society, both for his smoking, and non-smoking section. Smoking burns not only the health and soul, but also a purse - for his life turns into a smoker toxic smoke large sum of money, not to mention the additional costs for the treatment of diseases caused by smoking.

1. Where do you think it is on the graph?

In my opinion, our country is closer to the high level in the graph. We have good facilities and level of modernization, but we still are not perfect.
2. What health inequalities are there?

The health inequalities are quite good. Comparing with poor countries, we use modern facilities and have more possibilities to take care of patients.

3. What diseases could be prevented? How?

Such diseases as heart attack, polio, blood-stroke, brain attack. These diseases can be prevented because of the modern facilities and good-qualificated people.

4. What else could the government do to improve health?

In my opinion they should give more money for building hospitals and convince people that smoking and drinking alcohol are not part of happy life.

5. What can people do to improve their health?

They should have healthy diet and do active lifestyle. No drinking alcohol, no smoking, no taking drugs and your life will be happier.

I think if you are one of the volunteer, no matter that, you are really kind and responsive person. When person helps another people, he feels that he really part of this world, that he made someone happier or save somebody's life and this is wonderful. And life of people with serious disease really changes, which volunteers give them hope.

Time and Us

I can not say that I am practically the same as Pete or Frances, in my opinion I have something similar from both of them. For example, I just can not stand parties, I prefer to sit at home and read a book, or mayby go for a walk with my friend. I can not say that I have never thought about my future, I have...but unfortunatelly I stiil have no idea  and this is pity, because time runs really fast and desision is need to be resolved. And yes, I have some negative thoughts about my future ,because, as I said, it is really hard to choose your future profession. I think I can enjoy the present because now my life is full of happyness. 

Talking about health

I have never pulled a muscle or a tendon, but I remember that I had a lot of bruses when I were younger, because of the bycicle in Grany's dacha. And I think I will have more bruses, because I still like to ride a bycicle on summer hollydays. I sometimes have headaches, but this is depends on the season, and I have never had anything more serious, like migraine or astma. I often feel over-tired, because I do not sleep enough. To keep healthy I do regular exersise and try to follow the diet. In my opinion, the most dangerous diseases in my country are probably cancer or something caused by alchohol because a lot os people drink too much.

1. On this advert I can see one of the most famous perfumes «Chanel №5» I think it is seemed attractive not just because of the name. There were two films that I know about a woman, whose name was Coco Chanel. So, it makes product being so popular when you see this name and you want to be like this woman from film.  On the poster we can see this actress which performed in this movie, and It makes us to be sure that this perfume is perfect and we should buy it.

2. In those days the woman in ad was treated like an object. She was not expected to say anything during the advert and only her appearance was important. So, Ilon broke the system and add a famous slogan to the advert.  Because if you find the right words, it will make people go and by this product.

3. I think in Russia authors just want to present this good without a story or making it so typical instead of trying to create an interesting atmosphere or a good plot. Another disadvantage of Russian advert is importunity. It is showed so often that you can not even enjoy the film if you watch it on TV.  There is practically no interesting cutting.

 

Opinion on Advertising

I think, nowadays, advertising became one of the main parts of our lives. It helps us to find out more about almost everything. It is absolutely impossible to get away from advertising. We can hear and see it everywhere: on TV, radio, magazine, in internet and in the street. I agree with opinion that advertising affects people. Even if we do not see it carefully, advertising affects on our mind. People can hear just a part of ad, but it can be enough to recognize this thing from advertising in the shop next time. Especially if it is used a tricks like, sometimes silly, but very rememberable songs. If I were a company owner, I would prefer to spend my money on car advertising. If fortune turns to me face to face and if my ad is creative enough then I will make a big money. The adverts I like most are about internet browsers. I like some special effects there and sometimes music. The ones that annoy me most are pop-ups or some small adverts in internet that tries to stop me to see what I want. I usually buy the first product I find, because I am too lazy to go to another place and check up if there is cheaper price. I don’t remember that time when I was reading products review. I know that products in internet are cheap, but I prefer to buy something in the shop.

Describing scenes

Describing epizode from The Legend Of Korra:


Well, the scene starts off with
Korra finds uncle Auro in the dark forest. She got lost and cant find her way home. He says that she looks lost and asks her, if he can help.

Auro shows her  a big field that is full of wonderful and strange creatures, but this is a spirit world, there can be anything what you wish! Aouro says that he is glad to see her, that she comes just in time and that they are having a tea party.

The Uncle invites her to drink a tea together.They  both are sitting and talking to each other about the time of great Avatar that saved the world from the fire nation. But she is a child and she is still worried about her friends and her dad. Korra gets angry and starts crying. He sais that she is not alone and ewery thing is okey. Korra sais that she isnt okey. Her fried is gone and she needs to find her.

Suddenly, all  the clouds become dark and all  the creatures on a tea party feel themselves bad and unhappy. The Uncle Auro tells Korra that in a spirit world her emothions become her reality and she must try to stay positive.A little child stops crying after his words and apologises. The sun starts bright again. She asks if she can make the sun shine. Auro ansers that  Even in the material world she  will find the light, if she looks for it , but if she look for the dark, that is all she has ever seen!

Korra loves uncle Auro and she is glad to recieve advice from him. It is really important to have a support in a place where you have never been before.

As I understood I can choose any story what I want, so it isnt obligary to be funny. It is just an epizode of a cartoon.
